Seward Cruising up scenic Resurrection Bay from the Gulf of Alaska leads to the port community of Seward.  Majestic mountains surround the town, which nestles at the very head of the bay.  At 3,022 feet, towering Mount Marathon provides a breathtaking backdrop for the town and harbor.  This picturesque port of call was named for Secretary of State William Seward, who negotiated the purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867.

Just a short walk from the dock, you'll discover the bustling waterfront boardwalks with their quaint shops, art galleries, and excellent seafood restaurants.
