8-night land adventure plus 4-night Gulf of Alaska southbound cruise

Day 1: Anchorage, Alaska
Your Tour Director welcomes you to Anchorage for your first taste of Alaska.
Day 2: McKinley Explorer® to Denali National Park
Watch fabulous scenery unfold from your seat in the spacious domed railcar. Upon arrival transfer to your lodge for a leisurely afternoon and evening at Denali.
Day 3: Denali National Park
Begin your day with a Tundra Wilderness Tour, featuring great wildlife viewing and the best lookout points for Mt. McKinley. Later, return to your lodge or experience the wilderness on an optional excursion.
Day 4: McKinley Explorer to Fairbanks
Enjoy a morning at leisure followed by luxury sightseeing en route to Fairbanks. Then check into your downtown hotel and enjoy a relaxing night in Alaska's second-largest city.
Day 5: Fairbanks
Start your adventure with a nostalgic sternwheeler riverboat cruise aboard the Discovery. At Gold Dredge No. 8 you'll browse mining exhibits and pan for gold during an informative tour (lunch included). Tonight explore under the Midnight Sun on a choice of optional excursions.
Day 6: Explorer Coach to Beaver Creek
The Alaska Highway weaves past remarkable scenery where distant peaks frame endless open valleys. Stop at Rika's Roadhouse, an Alaska State Park along the original wagon road. Later we welcome you to remote Beaver Creek, Canada's westernmost settlement, with our famed Yukon Rendezvous Dinner Show (included).
Day 7: Explorer Coach to Whitehorse
Continue on the Alaska Highway past the St. Elias Mountains and the sparkling waters of scenic Kluane Lake. Arrive in Whitehorse and overnight in the capital of the Yukon Territory.
Day 8: Optional Whitehorse and Kluane National Park adventures
Choose an optional excursion to this UNESCO World Heritage Site, encompassing the second-tallest mountain in North America and the largest non-polar ice field.
Day 9: Whitehorse to Skagway
Experience an amazing tapestry of scenery throughout the day. The White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad features cascading waterfalls, jagged peaks and some of Alaska's most rugged terrain. In Skagway transfer to your Holland America cruise ship and say "good-bye" to your Tour Director.
Day 10: Glacier Bay Park Scenic Cruising
Day 11: Ketchikan, Alaska
Day 12: Inside Passage scenic cruising
Day 13: Vancouver, B.C.
